Description:
Enjoy an unforgettable birdwatching experience, just 30 minutes from Iriká Lodge in the community of La Esperanza de Atirro, on the Quizarrá farm, a family-owned property dedicated to sustainable agricultural production, forest protection, and responsible ecotourism. This property is part of the biological corridor of the Tuis River protected area and is located within the Cabécar indigenous territory, making it a space of high ecological and cultural value.
During this half-day birdwatching tour, visitors will be able to explore its gardens, balconies, and trails, designed to offer excellent opportunities for spotting and photography. From open areas and forest edges, it is possible to observe iconic species such as the Snowcap, Bronze-tailed Plumeleteer, Green-breasted Mango, and a wide variety of hummingbirds, tanagers, flycatchers, and frugivorous birds.
With around 190 species reported in a single site, this nature reserve is an ideal destination for bird lovers, photographers, and travelers seeking an authentic, peaceful experience in close contact with nature.
